The World Premiere of "The Case of the Double Dectective"

The Case of the Double Dectective

The highlight of Friday was the world premier of "The Case of the Double Detective." Conceived of by all the campers, written and directed by Rosalie, stage manged by Valeria, produced by Susanna and Joe, and starring Emma, Ollie, Archer, Maggie, Ellie, and Leo (with Lotta as understudy and Aenna as under-understudy). 

The cast rehearsed their lines and blocked their staging:

On Friday (between rehearsals!) we had a lovely day on Lowell Lake: paddling and picnic-ing!

Clue!

There was quite a lot of Clue played...and Othello as well as some Apples to Apples.

Breakfast

The day starts early with games, playing, cooking, and getting dressed.  Then we come together for breakfast in the shed. Friday we had eggs, toast, fruit, and mushroom--searched for, identified, and cooked by Joe, Archer, Ollie and others!

Time To Catch Up!

The week has been so full and busy that we had no time to blog!   So now we will give you a taste of what we did this week.

Zzzz

The first day was smooth (if fast paced) sailing! Maggie's favorite part of the day was hiking to the waterfall and we found a lot of colorful mushrooms. It was also Archer's birthday! He turned 12 and we had a special cake brought by the New York cousins to celebrate.

Getting Ready

It's Monday morning and the whole farm is getting ready. Today we will build a dam in the stream, go swimming, and see who shows up!

It feels like Autumn.
